‘Chicken’ Grandma has arrived from England!

‘Chicken’ Grandma arrived last weekend and I enjoyed meeting her at the airport. I have already decided that she’s not going back to England and is to stay and keep me entertained! She is great at reading stories, making funny faces (and noises!) and playing with me. I even let her read me a bedtime story and help to give me a bath.

We went to the Zoo last weekend, so that Mummy could have some rest with Sophie, and we’ve had a lovely week (even though we’ve had a few rainy days). We’ve been to the beach and made some great sandcastles, with a moat and drawbridge (Grandma bought me a brilliant Castle book and I have been learning about castles in England). We also took Grandma for a lovely walk through the Botanical Garden and a ride on the cable car. And I showed Grandma one my favourite places, the museum.

It’s been great having Grandma to help and I had fun swimming with Mummy whilst Grandma watched over Sophie. We all went to Staglands last week and I loved feeding the Guinea Pigs and the Rainbow Trout. I had a good sleep in the car on the way back (I fell asleep munching chips, yummy!).

Life is good and I am a very proud big sister and very protective of Sophie.

‘Ta ra’ for now!
