Watching the Tide

Monday morning, Sophie and I spent a magic couple of ours really living in the moment at Lyall Bay Beach. Since then the rain has barely stopped all week. We spent this morning at the airport watching the comings and goings – I always love the body filling raft of emotions and excitement I feel on entering an airport. This afternoon we were at an indoor ‘play-ground’ in the hope of the girls expelling some energy – alas to no avail! They both managed a 13 hour day with ease and 110% energy!

We’re off to Nelson on the ferry, via Picton, tomorrow morning. They’ll be no blogging for a few night’s – but plenty of photographs next Wednesday after our return!

In the meantime, here’s a few of Sophie appreciating the beauty of nature; but as yet blissfully oblivious to its dangers.
