Be nice wouldn’t it? To see Wellington from the air.
We waved off a bride-to-be, dressed in a beautiful gown on her father’s arm, with her bridesmaids accompanying them. We wondered where they were going. So many beautiful destinations within a short helicopter flight from Wellington. Such a stunning day for a wedding.
Maybe to the vineyards of Martinborough? A private venue on the Kapiti Coast? The Marlborough Sounds?
We wondered what it would be like, to see the city from a helicopter.
We sent up dear daughter six to tell us… erm, but for $10 on the Bigair Bungy, not $95 for an 8 minute city panorama. She didn’t get quite the same altitude – but from the look on her face, the experience was thrilling!
There were dragon boats racing out to the water fountain at Oriental Bay…
and back to the Lagoon again…
From up on the wire, she could see sky from a fresh angle…
It looked hair raising!
For Alice, it was thrill enough to hang by the dock looking for fishes – and high enough for Daddy to have a caring hand at the ready just incase she fancied herself as a mermaid!
After seeing Wellington from on high Sophie took off on her wheels…
Where she fancied some other wheels of a large variety – with a Daddy on hand to provide the pedal power!

I am always delighted by your postings. Â Thank you again and again for sharing your family and your experiences and insights.
