  1. ThaT is just beautiful! It really would work as a framed picture too! Stunning I wish I was there myself to paddle in that water x

  2. I really do like this pic.  Great focus – you could almost touch it it looks so real. What camera – if you don’t mind me asking.

  3. Just so beautiful…made me feel  calm and happy just looking at it…maybe one for the paint box to get an airing !!

  4. Thank you! I used a Canon EOS 1000D for this.

A couple of boys rowed it in and I loved the old-fashioned look of it against the scenery. My youngest daughter adores boats and toddled over saying, ‘Row, row!’.

  5. Oh yes! We must take lots of art materials up to the beach house over New Year! How lovely! Can’t wait! Love you so much x

  6. Stunning seems so inadequate. But it is…stunning! I love the water and boats so no surprise this appeals.

  7. This picture could easily be from a travel brochure or art gallery! It looks idyllic. I just want to go and sit there and look out at that scene all day x

  8. It’s Scorching Bay in Wellington – looking out from the bay to the harbour entrance. It’s a 15 minute easy drive from the city centre. One of Wellington’s best little bays with the best sand for building castles 🙂
