Entertainment from the Car

Posted on October 1, 2007November 27, 2009 by BritMumInNZ

The miserable wind and wet weather continues over the school holidays. We are having fun at home, but the occasional drive out lifts all our spirits. The other day we cruised down past the end of Evan’s Bay, along Cobham Drive, to look at the great sculptures (check out the Wellington Sculpture Trust‘s website for more information and images). We stopped the car long enough for a police motorbike to ask if we were okay (we were parked on a rather fast road) and after that moved the car to a safer spot! We enjoyed over an hour sitting in the car, admiring the sculptures and watching the wind whip up the sea.
