Whow!!…what amazing photographs….they are truely professionaland just wonderful!! How absolutely amazing and just so precious for our little darlings to see this wonderful feat of nature in its true glory!! Waking up to glorious sunshine here and those pictures are the icing on the cake. Thank you !!
Glad we made your morning! Also, lovely to hear you’re enjoying a few signs of Spring as the lighter evenings creep in (whilst I start to reach for the candles and draw the curtains a little earlier each night). Ah well, I can get the girls busy planting bulbs – would be lovely to have dozens of bluebells and daffodils sprout up along our driveway next Spring. Lots of love, xx
How lovely. It’s great to see the whole life cycle…I love butterflies.
Yes, truly beautiful. There is something so miraculous about butterflies. Truly a gift from Mother Nature herself.
Oh we used to do that too. If they run out of swan plant (which they did a few times in our garden despite best efforts!) they will eat pumpkin but only in the last part of their caterpillar phase or they wont form butterflies properly.
Thanks Tanya – yes we did have to buy a couple of extra plants!
Do they eat your veggies? They look very pretty though.
No, thankfully! They are very specific about what they eat – check out a couple of the links. The girls are now trained to tell me if we have a white butterfly problem… but rejoice in the Monarchs!
That is one heck of a caterpillar!! Gorgeous!!
Fab photos sweetie, will have to invest in one of the swan plant thingys – Bethany loves seeing things like this. xx
Yep, lots of fun! xx
