Action in the playhouse

The little playhouse in our garden has been transformed over the past weekend, with the girls helping ‘Handy Daddy’ to source wood, hammer it up, give it an undercoat and then paint it with chalk board paint. Sophie loves the work-bench at Kindi (complete with real hammers, saws and nails) and was over the moon when we bought her a little hammer of her own. She couldn’t wait to get started on her first ‘real’ project with Daddy (who isn’t a natural DIY’er and so is trying to push his fears aside – much like I did with baking!). Anyway, the results are great and Dan reported to feeling, ‘Very manly,’ in his broad Lancashire tones with a twist of Kiwi.
