I’m going to be living every minute of life to the max over the next three weeks (and sleeping when I can). They’ll be little time for blogging so I’m hanging up my dressing gown (which is what I mostly blog in!) and taking off on a bird in the sky.
Up to Auckland on a little bird this Wednesday evening, before catching a big bird to San Francisco.
Two nights in San Francisco before catching a big bird to London Heathrow to arrive Saturday morning (UK time).
Miss 9 can’t wait (loves to travel), Miss 6 reports she’s three quarters excited and a quarter nervous. Miss 2 has been told she’s going on ‘an adventure’ (and in her mind that probably consists of traveling on a ‘red rocket ship’ – like something out of ‘Little Einsteins‘ mixed with ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates’).
Right now, I’m off to take a nap with Miss 2 (who was up before dawn) and then have a good wash down (so much for booking myself into a day spa for a pamper session before the holiday.. ha! I shall be DIY’ing it on the road… along with impromptu puppet shows, games of ‘I spy’ and ‘paper, scissors, rock’!).
