I’m the fastest crawler in town

Catch me if you can! For I’m crawling and exploring and leaving no corner untouched. Everything in my path is a climbing frame and I’m standing up and cruising for as long as my Mummy and Daddy will let me. All this extra activity burns up my energy stores and over the past couple of weeks I’ve started eating lots and lots. I really enjoy Marmite on Cruskets and am trying lots of different finger foods and happily taking food off a spoon now. My Mummy and Daddy are very relieved that I’m finally eating solids – my Mummy especially! I also love drinking water from my sipper cup and can do it all by myself.

I’m still waking up at night – but it’s just like when big people have alot of busy, stressful things going on in their lives and they can’t sleep, I’m doing alot of things too. I’m learning to talk, learning to walk and then I have these white, pearly things called teeth coming through my gums and hurting lots. Then there’s all the new food I’m eating. My digestive system is getting a real work out (which makes for much more interesting nappy changing – especially now that I can roll over in a millisecond and crawl away mid change!). But I am quite a good sleeper really. I go to bed between 6.30 and 7.00pm and sleep through till after 6.00am (but happen to wake up three times a night and need to be given a cuddle). During the day I usually have just over an hour’s nap in the morning and one in the afternoon and then play like crazy the rest of the time!

Oh – and did I forget to say – I talk and squeal lots too! Babble, babble, babble… and (one more thing!) I’m waving ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’! Bye, bye for now!
