Happy Last Days with Family Lee

We left the Lee and Arnott caln in Colne with happy memories. Summer seems to have finally arrived and during our stay in Britain we have been blessed with mostly fair weather. Dan’s parents are blessed with beautiful countryside on their doorstep and we so enjoyed stepping out in the green fields. Though the population of Britain is around 60 million there is so much accessible walking country, thanks to about 188,700 kilometres of public rights of way.

The girls enjoying the countryside, with Pendle Hill in the background:

It was a special treat for me to go walking and return to a wonderful home cooked dinner by Chinese Grandma!

Later in the week dear Aunty Sue (Dan’s sister) and her husband, Uncle Tony to the girls, cooked up a BBQ, whilst the girls delighted in playing with their cousins.

It was a sad farewell, but we were brave and full of promises to keep in touch on Skype – especially now the girls have a more real sense of who their cousins are.
