On Sunday 1 May the linky will be open for Week 17 of Lyrical Sunday, with the theme of ‘Romance‘.
With the royal wedding on Friday we couldn’t resist a little romantic celebration! Tee hee! No wild street party for us in our little patch of New Zealand though – will most probably be asleep, along with the children – though I’m sure they’ll be plenty of Kiwis up partying in honour of Prince William wedding his bride-to-be Catherine Middleton on April 29th 2011!
‘Whatever you think of the royal family, weddings are still about hope and optimism and living happily ever after.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with celebrating that.’
(Lucy Cory, ‘Kiwis plan royal wedding parties’, The Dominion Post, 16/4/11).
If you’ve not joined in with Lyrical Sunday before click the button below to find out more… otherwise, just come back on Sunday to read some romantic sonnets!
