The Photo Gallery | Walks

Along a pathway lined with driftwood and shells, is a walkway on Wellington’s south coast. There are hundreds of beautiful walks around the city and in the bush reserves, but this is the walk that’s close to home. It’s my little place of escape, where I go to exercise, to free my mind, to listen to nothing but the birds, the sea and the wind. If I don’t get out for a walk or run, just for a day or two, my mental health definitely suffers! x

  1. I am so envious – it looks beautiful. We recently moved, I’ve lost my bit of space – I need a new one.

  2. Such a beautiful photo and I could just put myself there …certainly one to have a go at with the paints….perfect !! The light in the background is perfect….sure Mike would be impressed!! Thank you my precious.

  3. Ah, as much as the coast looks inviting, I’m more envious of your sunshine. Send some our way please!

  4. I was just saying last night to one of the Kea mums how lovely it is down your way shes taking her family down for the long weekend πŸ™‚

I find that too – exercising keeps me sane lol πŸ™‚ Its funny because when I was clinically diagnosed with depression the doc told me to get out and walk. Its taken 20 or so years for me to heed his advice. Wish Id done it sooner I LOVE it πŸ™‚
