Things I’m Loving this second week of our school spring hols

❤ Charlotte and her friend, visiting from Australia, delighting in the mud (it’s been a very wet Spring holiday break!).

❤ Sophie fizzing with excitement at getting her school uniform. She can’t wait to start on Monday!

❤ Alice such a cutie with her kiss curls, giggles and ability to repeat any word we say.

Alice the butterfly with her cute kiss curls

❤ Alice mastering the fine art of fluffy drinking. A true ‘Wellingtonian’ in the making, embracing the coffee culture.

❤ Early evening swims, with the man of the house joining us in the pool after work. Also loved that he surprised us on Tuesday and came home early.

❤ School holiday crafts, inspired by a visit to Capital E on Wednesday – which then took over my kitchen and living room 🙂

❤ Finding time to sketch together at the Zoo whilst the sun made an appearance on Monday morning.

❤ School holiday baking and my daughter Sophie insisting on taking some of our home made doughnuts around to our next-door neighbour.

❤ My music making, dancing, singing daughters (they are rehearsing for a Friday night concert as I type – and Daddy has an important role as ‘beer guzzler’, hee, hee!).

  4. Hi Sarah, thanks heaps for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog 🙂 Your girls are beautiful, love the sketching at the Zoo shot. I went to Wellington Zoo many many many moons ago 🙂

  5. Your girls are just beautiful … Nice Blog / Website.  Children make a great topic for blogs …. they do such interesting unexpected things and are so willing to co-operate when you have a camera in hand.  They are not hung up like us adults.  They are so natural.

  6. Looks like a fabulous week – I love that giraffe sketch and the mud puddling! Thanks for your comment on my Silent Sunday. We’ve had a bit of a mad week, and I’m having a rather lovely slow Saturday catching up.
