JUMP!
You make it look effortless to jump
A fluid body at ease in the air
Feet barely touch down before they fly
No fear holds you back, again you fly
Your body sailing into the next jump
Flipping over like a leaf in the air
Smile beaming every time you catch the air
Arms reach out, like a bird ready to fly
Unwavering energy to jump
You jump, into the air, and fly!

day seven of NaPoWriMo2016 with a ‘Tritina form of poem‘.

Great words expressing that absolute fearlessness of children jumping. And wow saw the video!!
Brilliant, and the video at the end is just lovely – perfect words to capture this footage #theprompt
I love that you have done this – for some reason the day 7 prompt for NaPoWriMo wouldn’t come to me. You have written it beautifully xx #ThePrompt
This poem really made me smile! The whole rhythm of it fits with the subject. #Theprompt
Love this, the way it flows is just perfect for the sentiment. It bounces along! And, the video! Wow! Thank you so much for sharing with #ThePrompt x
Thanks x It was fun to write and I have my 10 year to thank for inspiration!
Thank you 🙂 my daughter certainly inspires me – in many ways!
Yep, wish I could regain a tad of that fearlessness…. not that I ever recall having it to that degree!
Thanks Sara, my ten year old is definitely great inspiration – in this case!
