Love having time in the day to see my children delight in climbing blossom trees.
Loving naughty, but very nice, gifts from hubbie on his return from his business trip away.
Loving the kindness of one of Charlotte’s school friends passing on a loved toy to young Alice.
Loving impromptu paddles, in beautifully scented gardens, whilst waiting to pick Charlotte up from school.
Loving Birthday gifts that arrive as a late surprise, after a journey around the world and back again, and get all the more attention and pleasure from the recipient for arriving unexpectedly.
Loving evenings that turn into creative ‘madness’ – where art takes precedence over dinner!
Loving the new exhibit at Wellington Zoo, full of environmental goodness.
Loving home made blueberry muffins, eaten in the sunshine at the Botanical Gardens, ablaze with the colour of spring tulips and parcels of summer clothes from Grandma and Granddad in the UK.
So much to love this week! x
Finally… As it is ‘Tolkein Week’…. I have to share this…

I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life,
there is always something you can be thankful for…
no matter how simple it is.

Oh wow, what a load of lovely, lovely stuff! Great spring photos, and I love the pigtails on your baby girl. Have a great weekend xx

bless Dan, Charlotte’s friend and UK grandparents π
Lots to love for sure! Love how you’ve captured the delicate blossoms, I’ve not been to that park must check it out. Seeing your zoo pics reminds me we should renew our passes too! Happy weekend to u all, now happily together again!!
Amazing flowers and plants at this time of the year……nice pressies from the hubby too. x
I smiled through your post. Blossoms are fabulous, and your kids look awesome climbing the trees.
Dan is so thoughtful with those lovely chocs for his wife. I’m guessing he’s anticipating some indulgent naughtiness too π
The tulips – they are divine. I’m seriously contemplating flying down for a day (or a night) just to spend time at the gardens and ride the cable cars again and again and again…
Gorgeous Alice with her pigtails.
The creativity in your household is insufferable!
Hope you have another lovely and love filled week.
xx
