A night owl for a week

The first night home from Singapore I had a sleep over in my bedroom. Mummy and Daddy pretended to sleep on the sofa bed whilst I jumped up and down chanting ‘Busy Bee’! Earlier in the evening we’d tucked up with rugs in the lounge and watched the film that Daddy had taken of our adventures in Singapore. I also saw lots of stars and the moon and it was very dark outside.

The next night I was still on Singapore time so we had a lovely time in the Botanic Gardens watching a concert and seeing the beautiful lights. I danced amongst the flowers and chased the bubbles from a huge bubble machine and listened to music by ‘The Beatles’. It was lots of fun.

By the end of the week I settled back into Singapore time and went to a very special party on Saturday; it was the wedding of Charlie and Agnieszka and I thought Agnieszka looked very beautiful and I told Charlie he was a ‘man’! I had lots of fun at the wedding and ate lots of yummy food, including two whole chicken kebab sticks with sweet chilli sauce! I danced to the music, ran in the grass and even stroked a pony. It was a very happy afternoon.

Today I went to the Botanic Gardens for a Teddy Bear’s Picnic, but it was a bit too busy for my liking so we enjoyed the Rose Gardens instead, one of my favourite places to be. It’s nice to be home.
