My special friend Marrisa came round today to for a lovely lunch to give me an early Birthday present: a stunning painting by Bay of Plenty Artist Heidi Stook. I was overwhelmed with her thoughtful gift and generosity. I shall treasure it forever; just as I cherish our friendship.
The words on the back sum it all up:

Your friendship is invaluable, you can make me smile, laugh, cry (with posts like this!) and touch my soul with the most caring love a friend can offer. I only wish we lived closer so we could be together more (and get a few sneaky wines in!).
