Chicken Grandma in more ways than one!

Posted on March 31, 2010May 27, 2010 by BritMumInNZ

When Charli was very little my Mum used to make animal sounds on the telephone and one sound in particular stuck – that of a chicken. When Grandma phoned, Charli would say, ‘Chicken Grandma!’.

Well, Chicken Grandma has been doing an art course and sent the girls a copy of one of her latest paintings and on the day they arrived we had a visitor…

The visitor stayed for a few days before we found the owner – who came one evening with a big blanket and threw it over the hen. She seemed to enjoy our garden (despite our cat chasing it up a tree!). She didn’t leave us an Easter egg, but I’m sure the Easter bunny will!
