Sophie’s Tulips

Posted on March 18, 2010May 27, 2010 by BritMumInNZ

We found a lovely quick craft idea to make tulips for Easter (we’re in total denial of autumn!). Sophie loved this little project. We started by painting old egg cartons green (as in the video demonstration on About.com), for the bud of the tulip, but then Sophie came up with the idea of covering the egg carton with green tissue paper (so we didn’t have to wait for the paint to dry and could complete our tulip in minutes!).

Instant colour as the nights start to draw in….
