The youngest of my three daughters, Alice, has an incredible bond with her Grandfather. She runs to her Grandma with equal affection and words of love, but the laughter and smiles on her face, when she’s with her Granddad, are something saved just for him.
When they can’t be together they chat away on ‘Skype’, but when together in person the bond of love fills the air.
There are no oceans wide enough to keep the love from Alice and her Grandparents.
She was the only one of my babies to ‘meet’ her Grandparents in utero.
Perhaps hearing their voices, in the last stage of my pregnancy, forged a very special bond.
