Last week, on a rainy day, Sophie and I sat down to write a story about Rascal rabbit, from Sophie’s Kindi. He’s come to stay a few times and he certainly lives up to his name. We used ‘Snapfish‘ and Sophie is delighted with her own special book. We’re going to give a copy to the Kindi too. We loved making the book and have lots of ideas for more books. Charlotte says she’d like to make one about ‘monsters’ and create her own creatures out of plasticine, take photographs of them and write a story to go with the illustrations. I look forward to seeing that!

Great book. Rascal Rabbit is a star alright, especially with his disappearing acts. Perhaps this could be the first of a series, with future books imagining what he got up to when he went missing. Pitch the idea to a publisher, or sound out the Children’s Bookshop in Kilbirnie. Rabbits in children’s literature have a noble and profitable pedigree, as Beatrix Potter would attest. You could well be onto a winner here.
what a special book and Im sure it will be for many years to come
What a fantastic book !!….is there no end to your talents!! Just love it…can’t wait till the next one is written. Also great idea of Charlotte’s…super thinking!!
Rascal Rabbit will go down a treat at Kindi for sure!!
What a great idea! This is yet another idea that I am going to “borrow” from you.
Gorgeous Sarah! We make a book every Christmastime and give it away as a gift for the grandparents. Love what you’ve done! I can see a lot more coming your way π What a great way to encourage reading and writing.
What a fabulous idea – you’re very own book! Methinks I may have to make my own way to Snapfish very soon!
Love the book. I’m in the middle of making a photobook for 2010 to give as a Christmas present at the end of this year. Its such a lovely way to display and keep a record of special memories π
