Love of Dance

Charlotte has discovered a wonderful dance school in Wellington and finished a Jazz workshop on Friday, in preparation for her Grade 1 exam in a few weeks. She’s been dancing every day for the week and loved it.

It’s such a joy to watch her do something she loves with a passion. She dances at any random moment, with or without music. We were down at Lyall Bay the other afternoon when she started doing her routine on the pavement, whilst I was talking to someone. A young chap walked passed and his face lit up with a huge grin. Children are wonderful for stopping people in their tracks and reminding them to live in the moment. She was simply in her own, happy space, dancing from the heart.

Sophie, Alice and I loved watching her end of workshop performance. Alice was cooing away at the music. At this rate we shall have our own little girl band!
