Oh little drop of water, what times you have seen!
Floating in clouds & running in streams –
hanging in ice & sparkling in sun-beams.
From when time began & the age of the dinosaur,
to this sparkling rock pool of blues and greens.
I’ve seen you in the morning dew & in the rain –
felt you in a summer shower & winter’s cold refrain.
I’ve felt you course through my body & on my skin.
Shared your life-giving essence with my very kin.

Love it… I often try to explain the water cycle to K but it’s lost on him… I often marvel at it and where things come from when I sit at the beach… Thank you for sharing your words and vision 😀
Thank you – it was hastily done with lots of interruptions from little people 😉 Wish I’d had more ‘quiet time’ to think – but a little creativity squeezed in amongst the chaos is better than none at all x
What a super poem….and also from the girls…I’ve added a comment on their super efforts too…a very talented family indeed !!!
To bang that one out despite little humans bugging you – that’s impressive!Â
