16. OUT AND ABOUT | Photo a Day JUNE
Whilst I enjoyed my once every six week hair cut and ‘time out’ for me, Dan took his girls to Junglerama for an indoor play experience (it was wild and windy outside). I met up with them later on. They’d had a lot of fun!
17. IN YOUR BAG | Photo a day JUNE
For a change, not a wipe, nappy, sock, toy or children’s book in sight – just my camera, sunglasses, gloves and a few shells.
18. SOMETHING YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME | Photo a day JUNE
I drew a blank on this one (the thought of photographing scars and certain disproportionate body parts briefly crossed my mind – and was quickly stamped out). I took a photograph of a poem I’d written instead – as not everyone knows I like to *try and* write poetry.
19. IMPERFECT | Photo a Day JUNE
20. FAVE PHOTO I’VE EVER TAKEN | Photo a Day JUNE
How can I possibly have one favorite?! Impossible! However, I did spend a moment flicking through my photo library. My eyes rested on this sunshine photograph (particularly since it’s winter here in New Zealand). I love the light in this photo. I love the cheekiness, the impromptu moment caught forever in a photo. I love the bond these two sisters have – seven years age difference, but such a closeness.
21. WHERE I SLEPT | Photo a Day JUNE
Always both of these beds – until Alice no longer requests my presence for part of the night. Sharing the love 🙂
22. FROM A HIGH ANGLE | Photo a Day JUNE
TGIF! Friday night and I’m tucking into a glass of red – hubbie brought this bottle last night – erm, tempting fate a little for a mother of three daughters!

LOVE the wine and all the photos are perfectly you!
Wonderful photos and can feel the fun and laughter in the picture at junglerama…take care precious all and we love you so much…look after each other as we know you do. We have been out for a walk with our friends today and Grandma and Granddad will sleep like logs tonight with sweet dreams of you all..big hugs.
That summer picture looks amazing (and so warm!)
I’m glad you’re finding some ‘me’ time. Being a mother is a great and wearing responsibility. Although I loved (and still do love), my children dearly and would fight like a she-wolf for them I treasured my weekly afternoons ‘off’ when I could simply switch off and relax from the ever vigilant/interactive/ lets face it hard working role of a mother.
Oh. and am I picking up hints of a move?
Love your photos
What a neat sounding place that is for your girls to play
My computer is sick so billys leading me his iPod touch takes a bit of getting use to
